Backend Infrastructure Specialist

We are developing a B2B cross-border payment platform from scratch, aiming to make payments seamless, fast and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the core payment processing engine.
  • Develop financial systems for global operations, focusing on reliability and scalability.
  • Build integration layers with banking partners and an enterprise-grade reconciliation system.
  • Optimize the payment routing engine to balance speed and cost.
  • Contribute to technical architecture and long-term infrastructure planning.
Requirements
  • Deep experience with Java (Spring Boot).
  • Proficiency in Python is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of database design and performance optimisation.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Familiarity with event-driven and high-throughput architectures.
