Job Title: Project Visionary

As a seasoned Project Planning Strategist, you play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of complex EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilizing advanced software tools like Primavera P6 for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Establish project baselines, monitor deviations, and ensure timely corrective actions to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and execution for integrated planning.

Performance Monitoring & Control:

  • Implement robust project monitoring systems, dashboards, and progress reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs such as cost, time, productivity, and resource utilization to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks through proactive communication with management.

Leadership & Team Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor high-performing planning teams as well as site-based planners to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and standardize planning processes, templates, and best practices across projects to promote efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with finance, contracts, and execution teams to align schedules with business objectives, cash flow, billing, and milestones.

Strategic Planning & Support:

  • Provide strategic planning inputs for risk management, claim preparation, and project recovery plans to support business growth.
  • Ensure alignment of project schedules with contractual obligations, client requirements, and organizational goals.
  • Support management in tender planning, bid schedules, and resource forecasting to drive business success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation preferred).
  • At least 15 years of experience in project planning for EPC/Infrastructure/Water & Wastewater projects.
  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.
  • Proven track record of leading planning teams for multi-location, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Exposure to contract management, claims, and project controls will be an added advantage.
