Senior Cloud Optimization Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agile team, you will work on proof-of-concept projects to identify and implement cost savings opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing cloud costs and identifying areas for optimization
  • Developing and implementing cost optimization strategies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective cost management
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices

You must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience in cloud development (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with AWS services/tools or similar tools on Azure or Google Cloud (e.g., Cost Manager, Tag Editor, Compute Optimizer, Pricing Calculator)
  • Experience with system integrations
  • Experience in one or more software languages (C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python)
  • Established technical problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of user stories or use cases
  • Working knowledge of design patterns or equivalent experience
  • Experience with code versioning (Git, GitLab, TFS, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn about the growing field of FinOps
  • Coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
