Developer Relations Strategist

We're seeking a seasoned professional to drive our developer engagement strategy and build a thriving ecosystem around our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the developer relations strategy to strengthen community engagement and product adoption.
  • Community Building: Establish, nurture, and scale a global developer community through programs, advocacy, and partnerships.
  • Content Enablement: Oversee the creation of high-quality developer resources, tutorials, blogs, sample apps, workshops, documentation, to simplify onboarding and usage.
  • Advocacy Evangelism: Represent the company at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and online forums delivering impactful talks, demos, and workshops.
  • Feedback Loop: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to channel developer feedback into product improvements and roadmap decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales to design campaigns and strategies tailored to developer audiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in software development or developer-facing roles, with at least 3 years in Developer Relations Advocacy.
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Proven track record of creating technical content, tutorials, blogs, videos, demos, and delivering presentations at developer events.
  • Deep understanding of developer communities, open source ecosystems, and modern software practices.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Experience building or scaling developer programs, communities, or ambassador initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud, DevOps, APIs, and modern development stacks.
