Job Description

Brief overview of the role:

  • Strong understanding of costing, general accounting, journal entry preparation, audit, fixed asset accounting and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to identify inefficient processes and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis during monthly accounting close to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Validate non-financial statistical data for accuracy and support integrated financial reporting.
  • Develop and deliver post-close reporting packages, including operating reviews and financial statements.
  • Review and authorize fixed asset transactions, including additions and disposals.
  • Lead in-depth financial analysis to uncover performance drivers and trends.
  • Deliver timely decision-support analyses on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive operational outcomes.
  • Consolidate and analyze budgets and forecasts to align with strategic objectives.
