Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to fill a Financial Operations Specialist role. As an Accounts Payable Expert, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process.

You will work closely with vendors and stakeholders to explain and assist with the accounts payable process. Your key responsibilities will include reconciling the accounts payable ledger, sending payment requests on time, analyzing bank statements, and generating vendor invoices.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills, as well as good communication and negotiation abilities. You should also be able to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accurately recorded.
  • Send payment requests to Finance on a timely basis.
  • Analyze bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in payment processes.
  • Generate and approve vendor invoices.
  • Resolve vendor payment queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (MCOM) or Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly knowledge of Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and laws governing the accounting field.
