Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Global Sales Director for Semiconductor and Electronic Chemicals to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the semiconductor and electronic chemicals market.
The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including semiconductor and electronics component manufacturers and end-users. You will analyze industry trends and market needs to position our company's products effectively, creating tailored solutions for customers.
You will develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration. This will involve driving the entire sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, to closing deals.
You will negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will provide technical and application expertise related to semiconductor and electronic chemicals to support clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
This role requires close collaboration with product development, technical support, and customer service teams to align go-to-market strategies with customer demands and ensure timely product delivery.
Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the semiconductor and electronic chemicals market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including semiconductor and electronics component manufacturers and end-users.
- Analyze industry trends and market needs to position our company's products effectively, creating tailored solutions for customers.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical and application expertise related to semiconductor and electronic chemicals to support clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with product development, technical support, and customer service teams to align go-to-market strategies with customer demands and ensure timely product delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in business development or sales in the semiconductor and electronic chemicals or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor and electronic manufacturing processes and the role of chemicals in the production process.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive new business and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales forecasting tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, or support business development efforts.
