Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our cybersecurity awareness initiatives, leveraging their expertise in threat detection, incident response, and strategic planning. As Assistant Vice President – SOC and Cyber Security Awareness, you will be responsible for strengthening our organisation's cybersecurity posture by overseeing Security Operations Centre activities and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program tailored to various internal audiences, including executives, employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SOC operations, refining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create an annual awareness calendar featuring campaigns, phishing simulations, newsletters, security champions initiatives, and gamified learning.
  • Align awareness efforts with global security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, DPDP), and organisational security strategy.
  • Localise content for cultural and regional relevance across geographies.
  • Develop role-based security training (for developers, IT staff, risk teams, etc.).
  • Monitor training completion rates and effectiveness using data analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications preferred: CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Proven experience in campaign execution, analytical mindset, stakeholder management, and creativity & innovation.
