Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator">

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux Administration, with expertise in key areas such as LVM concept, multipath concept, and performance optimization.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux systems. This includes:

  • Configuring and maintaining LVM setups for data storage and recovery;
  • Validating multipath configurations and adding LUNs as required;
  • Ensuring that performance specifications are met through proactive monitoring and tuning;
  • Evaluating and correcting OS vulnerabilities by patching servers;
  • Coordinating with vendors to resolve hardware and OS-level issues;
  • Managing log rotation and filesystem usage, including changing permissions and ownership as needed;
  • Implementing changes at the OS level to meet application and database team requirements;
  • Following SLA guidelines and adhering to customer processes while handling BAU tasks;
  • Providing service management support for NTP, SSH, and AUTOFS services;
  • Resolving server access and bootability issues, including fixing GRUB;
  • Performing OS-level troubleshooting to bring up servers quickly and efficiently;
  • OS migration is a plus.
