Job Title: Advanced Cloud Engineer

Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Cloud Engineer to join our team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT with a proven track record in:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrading Service Mesh from version 2.0 to 3.0 on production clusters.
  • Migrating Kafka from Mirror Maker & Zookeeper to KRaft architecture.
  • Deploying, Configuring, and Managing Kafka and Service Mesh on OpenShift (OCP) environments.
  • Ensuring Seamless Integration between Kafka, Service Mesh, and Microservices Hosted on OpenShift.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for Production Rollouts.
  • Performing Troubleshooting, Optimization, and Security Hardening within a Highly Restricted Environment.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Kafka (upgrades, migration)
  • Service Mesh (hands-on upgrade experience with Istio/Red Hat Service Mesh 3.0 is mandatory)
  • OpenShift (OCP)
  • Microservices Communication Patterns and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
  • Prior Experience in Secure Environment Projects Preferred
