Global Ferroalloys Market Specialist

The role of a Global Ferroalloys Market Specialist involves covering the global ferroalloys markets with a focus on India. This position requires in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and ability to generate high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report weekly prices for ferroalloys and bulk ores, focusing on the Indian market.
  • Develop and launch new price assessments, define specifications, and gather market feedback.
  • Generate news content on the ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, working closely with reporters from Africa and Europe.
  • Produce periodic articles on topical industry issues, such as regulatory developments, geopolitical events, investment, project pipelines, and ESG considerations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, sharing and sourcing market intelligence.
  • Participate actively in business development, supporting account managers in sales processes through maintaining sales pipelines and assisting in sales efforts.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in the steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets.
  • Experience in covering ferroalloys, bulk ores, or related markets as a journalist, analyst, or price reporter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrable impact and influence skills.
  • Ability to present and lead public discussions, such as moderating panels at conferences.
  • Strong quantitative skills are advantageous.
  • Exemplary written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team while sometimes operating alone.
  • Ability to manage others while maintaining personal output.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is advantageous.
