Job Summary

As a Chief Technology Innovator, you will play a crucial role in driving technology standards and adoption within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in team prioritization discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Estimate and own delivery tasks, including design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation, to meet business objectives.
  • Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within the team to optimize solutions.
  • Report status and manage risks within the primary application/service.
  • Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience.
  • Perform demos/acceptance discussions with product owners to ensure alignment.
  • Develop a complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess:

  • Intermediate skill in software architecture
  • Advanced skill in automation and DevOps
  • Intermediate skill in cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Advanced skill in software development
  • Intermediate skill in container-based software deployment practices
  • Intermediate skill with Kubernetes or managed Kubernetes services
  • Experience working in cross-functional and large projects with globally dispersed development resources
  • Ability to write secure code in three or more languages and familiar with secure coding standards
  • Intermediate skill in global focused design
  • Intermediate skills with innovation and thought leadership
  • Understanding of operating system internals to write interoperable and performant code
  • Understanding and implementation of standard branching and peer review practices
