Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement comprehensive site plans and specifications in accordance with established design and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with regulatory codes and industry best practices.
  • Direct or participate in surveys and measurements as necessary to inform project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and conduct soil tests to assess structural foundation stability.
  • Monitor and report on work progress and budget matters to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and design requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Verify that all construction activities comply with relevant building and safety codes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in on-site project management, with a focus on civil and structural engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • A strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools is an advantage.
  • Degree/Diploma in civil engineering with at least 2-3 years' experience.
