Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Insights Specialist to join our team. As a Business Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for developing solutions and implementing data models.
You will analyze large datasets to extract insights, build predictive models, and drive business decisions through data-driven analysis.
The role involves tasks like data collection and preparation, exploratory data analysis, model building, analysis, and visualization. You will work as a data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets.
Key responsibilities include identifying relevant data sources and sets to mine for business needs, collecting structured and unstructured datasets and variables, devising and utilizing algorithms and models to mine big-data stores, performing data and error analysis to improve models, cleaning and validating data for uniformity and accuracy.
Analysis of data for trends and patterns, interpretation of data with clear objectives in mind, and implementation of analytical models in production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers are also key aspects of the role.
Required Skills:- Programming Languages: Python (main), R (optional), SQL
- Must know python frameworks: Pandas, NumPy, Polars, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Scipy
- Machine learning algorithms, model building, model training, model evaluation
- Deep learning - Basics (ANN, LSTM etc)
- Visualization & BI: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI
- Cloud Based ML Services: AWS (S3, SageMaker), GCP (BigQuery), Azure ML (any one)
- Additional tech good if known: ETL, Big data, PySpark, Hadoop
