Job Title: Network Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Network Automation Specialist.

  • A key aspect of this position is automation and scripting. The successful candidate will have experience with Ansible and/or Python (5-7 years), as well as familiarity with YAML and JSON. They will also be expected to develop infrastructure-based scripting skills.
  • APIs and tools expertise is also essential, particularly in the areas of REST, OpenConfig, and gNMI. Experience with Git and Ci/Cd (Jenkins/GitLab) is highly valued, as is proficiency in Linux and preferred tools like Itential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in network infrastructure, with a proven track record of SDLC delivery and automation design patterns. They will also have a solid understanding of security controls and their implementation.
  • Network knowledge is crucial, with specific emphasis on VXLAN, BGP, and EVPN. Familiarity with Arista switches and CloudVision Portal (CVP) is also desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) are essential for success in this role.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a global team, managing competing priorities and adapting to changes in project scope, is vital.
