Telecommunications Engineering Expert

As a Telecommunications Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering, deploying, managing, and supporting the SIP and Carrier infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of Ribbon and Sonus products, as well as experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

  • Validate builds for cost savings and drive circuit carrier optimization projects to meet objectives
  • New Client Launch: Carrier to Carrier customer migrations
  • Technical leader for incidents, diagnosis, and determining the most effective way of resolving outages
  • Supporting L2 associates, cross-functional teams, and vendors

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also participate in testing new tools and developing operational requirements for monitoring, coordinate testing of installed solutions with customer applications, perform vendor interaction, service reviews, and maintenance. You will also keep up-to-date documentation of procedures and review project documentation from delivery teams.

Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering
  • Professional competencies in Ribbon and Sonus products
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Knowledge of protocols such as SIP, H323, QoS, DHCP, SNMP, SS7, ISUP, ISDN PRI, Routing, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Codecs - G729, G711, OPUS

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications engineering, with experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex systems. Additionally, they should have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
