We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to spearhead the engineering vision, strategy, and execution of our cybersecurity platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and scale a high-performing team by hiring, mentoring, and growing top talent.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software products that meet customer needs.
  • Establish best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and architecture to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
  • Make informed technical decisions on architecture, tools, and platform design to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Set and track key performance indicators for engineering velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Success Metrics
  • Establish a strong engineering foundation with 5–7 engineers within the first year.
  • Deliver the minimum viable product (MVP) release of Visiblaze IQ and define the roadmap for enterprise readiness.
  • Implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and monitoring baselines to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Document and communicate engineering best practices and architecture standards to the team.
  • Demonstrate measurable improvements in team velocity and product quality within the first year.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • At least 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in engineering management, including team building and delivery.
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow top engineering talent.
  • Experience delivering SaaS products, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance.
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design principles.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, including Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis Streams.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, ELK, and CloudWatch.
  • Exposure to compliance-driven environments, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Understanding of security best practices for SaaS products.
