Trading Systems Expert

We are seeking a skilled Trading Systems Expert to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our trading systems. In this role, you will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive and implement testing strategies.

This expert will lead and execute QA activities on the trading platform, focusing on ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of the platform across various environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the QA lifecycle for the trading platform, including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management
  • Work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for trading platforms, including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations
  • Leverage knowledge of trading platforms to identify potential risks, assess system behavior, and ensure that critical trading workflows are functioning correctly
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in trading or financial platforms
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with trading platforms
  • Experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing within a complex trading environment
  • Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with the ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments
