Job Title: Software Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India with some work from home flexibility.

The Software Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring application security through continuous assessment and implementation of security measures. This includes conducting vulnerability assessments, performing risk analyses, developing secure application code practices, and educating team members on security protocols.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Network Security, as well as understanding of Physical Security principles. Strong Communication skills are also essential.

  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Network Security

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with security tools and frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses
  • Develop and implement secure application code practices
  • Educate team members on security protocols
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure security standards are maintained across all applications
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
  • Experience with security testing tools and frameworks
