Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Specialist to join our team.

This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding software applications using modern security and AI tooling. The successful candidate will integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring software products are resilient against vulnerabilities through threat modeling, secure code reviews, and security testing.

  • Incorporate security into every stage of the software development process
  • Guarantee software products can withstand potential threats by conducting thorough risk assessments and security checks
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve security weaknesses using advanced security tools
  • Conduct manual and automated penetration testing to uncover security flaws and vulnerabilities
  • Analyze source code to provide actionable security recommendations to developers
  • Develop comprehensive threat models to anticipate potential attack vectors and enhance security architecture
  • Support the integration of security automation within CI/CD pipelines to drive efficiency and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and remediate security incidents related to software applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development or software security within an agile environment
  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA tools
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of secure coding principles and application security frameworks
  • Familiarity with security tools and knowledge of industry standards and regulations

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with cloud security best practices in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and/or Machine Learning
