Strategic Account Director

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Account Director to lead our key client relationships in the region. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving the growth and planning excellence of these accounts, while overseeing the activation delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the client lead to provide strategic POVs and recommendations
- Be the first point of contact for senior client stakeholders
- Translate client briefs into data-driven strategy frameworks with actionable KPIs
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships at all levels
Team Management
- Responsible for personal and career development of direct reports
- Resource planning for account teams to ensure sufficient resources are allocated
- Support the team to ensure excellent and consistent delivery of planning and activation work
- Manage in-market account teams effectively
Revenue Growth
- Lead new business pitches when required
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Keep abreast of channel and product updates within the agency
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years in media agency-side roles, with at least 2 years in a people-management and managerial role
- Fluent English communication, verbal and written
- Experienced in integrated media planning, with a strong understanding of digital channels
- Significant proven experience in working with multiple stakeholders
