Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional with expertise in AS/400 systems to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality technical support for AS/400 applications, encompassing COBOL, RPG III, RPGILE, SQLILE, and CLLE.
  • Showcase a deep understanding of the business drivers behind AS400 applications and their integrated processes.
  • Analyze system architecture diagrams and identify interfaces with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Compile comprehensive documentation on AS400 environments, OS levels, and database versions.
  • Conduct thorough walkthroughs of complex code modules, including customized routines.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of AS400 application integration with other systems.
  • Familiarize yourself with current monitoring mechanisms, log directories, and housekeeping processes on AS400 servers.
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements for the AS400 system.
