Senior Talent Strategist Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role in charge of attracting top talent for a high-priority business unit. The successful candidate will conceptualize and execute talent strategies, overseeing the entire recruitment process.

  • Oversight of hiring initiatives for a specialized business unit focused on front-office trading and investment functions.
  • Leadership of a team of 5-8 recruiters, providing guidance, performance management, and development support.
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders and senior leadership to develop hiring strategies aligned with current and future talent needs.
  • Promotion of hiring for financial research, market intelligence, and analytical roles through targeted sourcing and candidate engagement.

The ideal candidate boasts 10-14 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong emphasis on hiring for financial research, capital markets, or analytics-driven roles. Prior experience in managing and scaling recruitment teams in complex or matrixed environments is essential.

Excellent stakeholder management skills are required, with the ability to influence, engage, and align with senior business leaders. A proven track record of strategic hiring, sourcing innovation, and talent mapping for niche functions is highly valued. Educational qualifications from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions (MBA/Postgraduate) are strongly preferred.

Geographic flexibility is limited, with a preference for candidates based in or open to relocating to Hyderabad. Industry experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred: Investment Management / Asset Management, Equity Research / Brokerage, Private Equity / Venture Capital / Hedge Funds, Financial Consulting / Advisory / Research Firms, Development Finance Institutions / Think Tanks, Corporate Strategy or M&A Teams (In-house).
