Life Insurance Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager / Business Development Manager to drive life insurance sales through direct client engagement and field visits.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Generating leads through field visits, cold calling, reference networks, and market activities
  • Conducting customer meetings to understand financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance products
  • Explaining policy details, benefits, and premium options to clients and resolving their queries
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and contributing to overall business growth
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating with branch teams, operations, and underwriters to ensure smooth policy processing
  • Participating in marketing campaigns, roadshows, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Maintaining timely records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM or reporting formats

Required Skills & Competencies include:

  • Proven field sales experience (minimum 2 years) in life insurance, financial products, or similar sectors
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Good understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and regulatory compliance
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and customer meetings
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reporting tools or CRM systems
