  • We are looking for an experienced Freelance QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in the Karate Framework for both UI and API test automation.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, and execute automated test cases to ensure application reliability, performance, and quality.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
  • Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
Requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
