Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment process, onboarding new employees, managing attendance and shift schedules, handling payroll and statutory compliance, and performing other key tasks related to human resources.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Recruitment and Staffing:
      • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower needs
      • Post job openings on relevant platforms
      • Conduct initial screenings and schedule interviews with appropriate panels
      • Ensure timely recruitment turnaround time to maintain operational continuity
    • Onboarding and Induction:
      • Collect documents and complete verification checks for selected candidates
      • Prepare offer letters, contracts, ID cards, and orientation kits
      • Conduct induction sessions for new hires
      • Maintain accurate employee files in line with organizational standards
    • Attendance and Shift Management:
      • Monitor staff attendance using biometric systems or manual logs
      • Create and manage shift rosters for 24x7 teams
      • Manage leave applications, comp-offs, and absenteeism records
      • Share accurate attendance data with the payroll team each month
    • Payroll and Statutory Compliance:
      • Assist in payroll processing by submitting attendance and leave balances
      • Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, gratuity, and professional tax deductions
      • Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational regulations
      • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary HR documentation
    • Performance Management:
      • Coordinate probation evaluations, appraisals, and feedback collection
      • Track confirmation timelines and performance improvement plans for underperforming employees
    • Employee Grievances and Welfare:
      • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances
      • Assist with conflict resolution among staff or between departments
      • Promote employee well-being by facilitating access to support services
    • HR Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain up-to-date records of employee joinings, exits, contracts, and licenses
      • Generate HR reports on absenteeism, headcount, attrition, and training

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR-related roles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
