At myGwork, a leading platform for the LGBTQ+ business community, we're seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our One Medical Finance Operations team under Amazon Healthcare.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled analytics expert who can work with large data sets and help build data-driven operational strategies to adapt to ever-changing business environments. As a Financial Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to develop new strategies to improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting, design internal finance controls based on industry best practices, and lead projects to address key cross-functional issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new financial reporting strategies to enhance accuracy and timeliness.
  • Create and maintain internal finance controls aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead projects addressing critical cross-functional issues in financial operations and vendor management.
  • Deliver financial savings through project implementation.
  • Design and implement mechanisms to promote Operational Excellence Culture.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions to identify improvement opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • 4+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
  • 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Master's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent.
