We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux and Windows System Administrator to join our team at Hydus Technologies, an XTIVIA Company.
About this role:
- This senior-level position involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various software applications on both Windows and Linux environments.
- You will work closely with our agile development team to resolve architecture-related issues and ensure efficient system performance.
- Responsibilities also include assisting in the deployment of in-house developed and custom applications, as well as working with vendors for software installations.
- An added responsibility will be planning and implementing new software releases and upgrades, while maintaining system backups and images for recovery purposes.
- You will monitor system configurations to guarantee data integrity and adapt to emerging technologies and interfaces.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with Windows server and Linux/Unix operating systems is required.
- Familiarity with OS security policies and experience in AWS environments supporting application deployments is essential.
- Additionally, you must have expertise in Docker containers and application deployments, as well as shell scripting knowledge.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 based on industry standards and your level of experience.
