About the Role

FRONIX SOLUTIONS PVT LTD seeks a highly skilled Senior Systems Administration Expert to lead our team in delivering comprehensive training sessions on Linux, Windows, and networking administration. Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in RedHat Linux system administration and Windows server administration. They should possess a strong understanding of Linux networking, security, and storage management, as well as experience with automation tools like Ansible and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Additionally, they should be proficient in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file server management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Linux System Administration:
    • Deliver advanced training on RedHat Linux administration, covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems.
    • Train on core Linux concepts, including user and group management, file system management, package management (rpm, yum, dnf), and process management.
    • Provide practical guidance on configuring and managing system security (firewalls, SELinux, AppArmor, and security updates).
    • Teach advanced disk management techniques, including Logical Volume Management (LVM), RAID configurations, and disk partitioning.
    • Train on system performance tuning, kernel management, system logging, and resource monitoring tools (top, ps, iotop, vmstat).
    • Provide instruction on Linux network administration, including IP configuration, routing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setup.
    • Explain containerization concepts using Docker, Podman, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
    • Cover automation with Ansible for configuration management and task automation.
    • Guide on cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with RedHat Linux systems.
    • Teach backup strategies, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Windows System Administration:
    • Train on key aspects of Windows Server management, including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, user management, and remote access management (RDP, PowerShell Remoting).
    • Deliver content on configuring and maintaining DNS, DHCP, file sharing (SMB), and print servers on Windows environments.
    • Cover system hardening and security best practices, including user rights, NTFS permissions, firewalls, and encryption policies.
    • Provide instruction on Windows server networking concepts such as network interfaces, static/dynamic IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and bridging.
    • Offer in-depth guidance on integrating Linux systems with Windows through Samba, NFS, and file sharing protocols.
    • Teach Windows Update Services (WSUS) and patch management strategies.
    • Explain the deployment and management of Windows Server updates, and the use of tools like PowerShell for automation.
  • Networking:
    • Provide comprehensive training on networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and IP routing.
    • Cover network protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, SNMP, SMTP, and how they relate to both Linux and Windows environments.
    • Teach network troubleshooting techniques, using tools like ping, netstat, traceroute, tcpdump, and wireshark.
    • Explain virtual networks and network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP) in Linux and Windows environments.
    • Train on VPN (Virtual Private Network) configurations and secure network setups for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
    • Introduce network security concepts, such as firewalls (iptables, firewalld), packet filtering, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
    • Cover advanced topics in network management, including traffic monitoring, load balancing, and network performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in RedHat Linux system administration and Windows server administration.
  • Linux Knowledge:
    • Expertise in RedHat Linux, including installation, configuration, and management.
    • Strong knowledge of Linux networking, security, and storage management (RAID, LVM, NFS, DHCP, DNS).
    • Experience with Linux performance monitoring and optimization.
    • Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Windows Knowledge:
    • Solid experience in managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file server management.
    • Experience in Windows networking, including DHCP, DNS, SMB, and VPN setup.
    • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and Windows automation techniques.
    • Experience with system security, patch management, and system recovery strategies.
  • Networking Skills:
    • Deep understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
    • Proficient in network troubleshooting and performance analysis tools (ping, netstat, traceroute, tcpdump).
    • Familiarity with network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
    • Experience with hybrid networking environments (Linux-Windows interoperability).
  • Training Experience:
    • Proven track record of delivering technical training to enterprise-level clients.
    • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Certifications:
    • RedHat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA)
    • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)
    • Networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
Salary

We offer an estimated salary of ₹1200000 per annum based on industry standards and market conditions. The final compensation package will be negotiated during the hiring process.
