Operations Manager Job Opportunity

The role of Operations Manager – Governance will act as a control anchor for governance-related practices in the city. This strategic and hands-on position ensures operational discipline at the city level by enforcing compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) across teams, conducting regular governance checks, and identifying operational control gaps impacting service quality, timelines, or cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance & SOP Adherence: Drive compliance with SOPs across teams, conduct routine governance checks, and identify operational control gaps affecting service quality, timelines, or cost.
  • Risk & Non-Compliance Management: Monitor and resolve governance risks, address non-compliance or deviations related to internal stakeholders, flag repeated incidents, and drive systemic corrective actions.
  • Audit Readiness & Documentation: Maintain project, partner, and compliance documentation in audit-ready format, lead internal audits, track governance metrics, and update dashboards.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Coordination: Liaise with city operations, design teams, and project managers to reinforce a governance-first mindset, work directly with partners, conduct workshops, and refreshers to educate stakeholders on new or revised SOPs.
  • Reporting & Escalation Management: Prepare city-level compliance reports and governance scorecards, present root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend preventive measures.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
