Global Trade Tax Analyst Role

We are a fast-paced and lean FinTech startup focused on disrupting the indirect tax industry.

This role offers the opportunity to work with and learn cutting-edge AI techniques in global trade and customs management.

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are pushing the boundaries to make a paradigm shift in tariff and tax management at a global level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply research in tax planning, compliance, and strategies from a product development perspective.
  • Analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on global trade - customs, excise, VAT/GST.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, finance, accounting, statistics, or computer science (BCom/Commerce graduates please do not apply).
    • Candidates interested in pursuing further research towards a master's or PhD in a related field will find this role suitable.
      • Deep research interest in taxation, strategic and tactical implications on trade, impact on GDP, and tax compliance.
        • Experience in research methodologies and techniques.
        • Strong analytical skills.
          • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
          • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
          • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
          • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
          • Basic knowledge of global trade and tax regulations is a strong plus.
