Operations Manager Job Description

As Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of raw materials aggregation ensuring high-quality plastic waste receipt from various sources
  • Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and recyclers to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate fair prices
  • Management of site-level production teams, quality standards monitoring, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Cooperation with partners to add value to the feedstock transforming it into washed flakes or granules
  • Creation of a market for different items of Phugga focusing on Polyolefins- HDPE and PP

Additional Key Aspects:

  • Factory compliance management and Profit & Loss accounts maintenance
  • Continuous improvement of SOPs to optimize performance applying Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma design processes
  • Identification and implementation of key projects and kaizens to increase productivity and hit targets
  • Submission of timely, concise, and accurate reports daily, weekly, and monthly basis as well as standardization of machine inspection check sheets and operation check sheets at site level

Professionalism, company policies adherence, data confidentiality and security, and willingness to travel frequently across site locations are essential requirements.
