As a key member of our data engineering team, the Senior Data Engineer - SSIS/SSRS Specialist will play a critical role in driving strategic direction and optimizing operations for our dynamic team.

About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for leading user inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for seamless experiences.
  • The successful candidate will develop and implement operational processes to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with product teams on resolving bugs and technical issues is also essential.
  • Maintaining critical issues, escalating as needed, and providing workarounds for unsupported functionality are critical aspects of this role.
  • Troubleshooting daily issues, guiding the team, and assisting in solving tickets require strong analytical skills.
  • Rfine Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction are necessary.
  • Creating, modifying, and troubleshooting SSIS packages, Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, Automation Processes, and SQL Jobs with an eye on performance are key responsibilities.
  • Converting, manipulating, and preparing large volumes of data for ingestion using SQL Server integration tools require attention to detail.
  • Creating, modifying, and troubleshooting reporting queries in SQL Server 2019 are also essential.
  • Maintaining and supporting data ingestion tools and automation scripts are critical aspects of this role.
  • Managing and resolving data-related issues reported by customers and internal employees are necessary.
  • Conducting quality and business logic checks on all data into and out of systems are essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years' database and application development and support experience is necessary.
  • Proven SQL Language Experience with highly performing SQL is essential.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages is also required.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using tools like Sisense and SSRS is necessary.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server is essential.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling concepts is required.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.) is necessary.
