IT Asset Coordination Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Asset Coordination Specialist to manage procurement coordination activities related to IT-based hardware and services. This includes coordinating with internal procurement teams and vendors, preparing RFQs, managing asset tracking, and ensuring timely renewal of software/hardware licenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and coordinate with procurement teams to acquire network hardware and software from approved vendors.
  • Manage quotation requests, price comparison, and vendor negotiations.
  • Track and maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses.
  • Coordinate with IT operations teams to ensure timely software license renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and invoices.
  • Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Create and update procurement documents such as purchase orders and vendor agreements.
  • Maintain procurement compliance according to company policies and audit requirements.
  • Monitor delivery and installation of hardware, escalating vendor delays when necessary.
  • Collaborate with finance for payment processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in hardware/network equipment procurement.
  • Knowledge of Cisco, HP, Fortinet, or other switch/IP phone brands.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models (Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Excel and other procurement systems.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet procurement deadlines.
  • Fluent communication skills in Tamil and English for effective global collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Electronics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT procurement or IT operations.
