Energy Markets Expert

The Energy Markets Expert role presents a high-impact opportunity to shape the energy business from inception.

As a key member of the energy practice, you will support research and consulting engagements in fields like biofuels/e-SAF, data center flexibility, grid technologies, and energy policy assessment.

You will provide in-depth analysis, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to clients, while contributing to the development of our knowledge base.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting primary and secondary research efforts for ongoing projects, developing and maintaining research models, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Synthesizing research findings for client-ready deliverables and presenting project analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to proposals, discovery documents, blogs, and white papers to support business development activities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to solidify our position as a trusted advisor in the energy market.
  • Supporting internal ideation, brainstorming, and research efforts for concepts and market validation.

Qualifications include:

  • A degree in a science-related field or economics with 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in power, oil and gas, or new energies (Hydrogen/CCUS).
  • Proven experience as an analyst or consultant, preferably in management consulting, market research, or an advisory firm.
  • Strong storytelling and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
