Job Title: Senior Associate
">Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Trade Support team. As a key member of our middle office operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of trades, providing exceptional support to our front office equities trading desks, and acting as a point of contact for internal front/back-office enquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Trade Lifecycle Management: You will be responsible for managing the entire trade lifecycle, from allocation and confirmation to processing and settlement. This includes working closely with our clients, sales and trading teams to ensure timely completion of trades.
- Operational Risk Mitigation: You will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of securities and possess excellent analytical skills to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Process Improvement: You will work collaboratively with technical teams to improve the trader experience, develop new processes, and enhance existing ones to drive efficiency and reduce risk.
- Liaison and Communication: You will act as a liaison between Front Office and supporting functions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the trade lifecycle.
- Technical Competencies: You will have at least four years of experience in an operational support position, preferably in IB Equity Operations or similar environments. Strong knowledge of MS Suite, especially Excel, and ability to learn multiple programs quickly is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Operational Support Experience: At least four years of experience in an operational support position, preferably in IB Equity Operations or similar environments.
- Equity Operations Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of securities, including product knowledge in Equities and high-level knowledge of middle office and back office systems.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of MS Suite, especially Excel, and ability to learn multiple programs quickly.
