Senior Data Scientist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Data Scientist, bringing expertise in SQL and Python, along with hands-on experience in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will develop predictive models, build data pipelines, and experiment with GenAI tools to solve complex business challenges and enhance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI/ML models for various business use cases, including prediction, classification, clustering, and personalization.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets using SQL and Python for model development and analysis.
  • Apply and experiment with Generative AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, text generation, summarization, prompt engineering) for emerging business needs.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and automate data workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliver actionable insights.
  • Communicate analytical results and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML and GenAI technologies and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python with experience in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, joins, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and data science best practices.
  • Experience handling structured and unstructured data.
  • Exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
