The Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial operations of the organization, guiding its financial strategy and maintaining fiscal stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
  • Ensure financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet organizational objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Financial Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate business case feasibility on new investments.
  • Drive organic and inorganic growth for the business.
Financial Reporting

Oversee preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure timely reporting of key financial data to stakeholders.
Fund Raise & Treasury Management

Oversee fund raise requirements by liaisoning with bankers and other financial institutions.

  • Raise adequate debt capital in line with business requirements.
Compliance

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.

  • Conduct tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Process Excellence

Review existing processes and make periodic changes in line with business growth and market dynamics.

  • Drive internal financial controls to minimize organisational risk.
Audit

Drive internal audit, stock audit, and retail process audit teams to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
Leadership

Direct finance, IT, audit, and supply chain teams.

  • Ensure ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • CA / MBA Finance with 15-20 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Extensive experience in senior financial managerial roles with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software.
