Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience building and scaling Shopify applications and custom storefronts, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance apps and storefronts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Shopify apps (public and private) focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Build and customize Shopify storefronts using Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and headless commerce approaches.
  • Architect integrations with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL), webhooks, and third-party services.
  • Implement and optimize checkout extensibility and custom themes.
  • Evaluate and ensure apps and storefronts adhere to Shopifys performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Promote best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD to maintain a robust codebase.
  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.
  • Stay updated on Shopifys evolving ecosystem, adopting new frameworks and technologies.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • 5+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
  • Proven expertise in Shopify app development, Liquid, and custom storefront implementations.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and frameworks such as Remix, Next.js, or React.
  • A solid understanding of Shopify APIs (GraphQL & REST), OAuth, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Git-based workflows.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, unit/integration testing, and debugging.
