The Production Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire production process, from planning and execution to quality control.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly production plans and schedules to meet demand forecasts, ensuring seamless production flow.

    • Conduct thorough analysis of existing production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

    • Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications, driving continuous improvement.

    • Drive and champion lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to eliminate waste, improve flow, and foster a culture of excellence on the shop floor.

    • Swiftly resolve production-related issues, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations, minimizing downtime.

    • Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, machinery, materials, and utilities, to maximize output and minimize costs.

    • Evaluate and report production data to identify trends, measure performance (KPIs), and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to production supervisors and operators, as well as assist in training new staff on production procedures and safety protocols.

    • Effective liaison with other departments ensures smooth production flow and timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or manufacturing.

  • 0-1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the industry.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

  • Aptitude to work effectively in a team environment.
