Job Summary

The Principal Legal Counsel role is a key position within the Legal Department, requiring diverse legal skills and expertise. The successful candidate will collaborate with highly skilled legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal and compliance solutions to support business objectives.

This strategic role involves managing technology-based Enterprise-wide Compliance management programs for the entire organization. The ideal candidate will implement efficient and effective corporate compliance programs, handle global investigations, and negotiate remediations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement Global Compliance Programs: Develop and maintain seven pillars of corporate compliance programs with regional reach, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to regulations.
  • Global Investigations and Remediations: Conduct thorough investigations, negotiate resolutions, and implement corrective actions to maintain a compliant environment.
  • Compliance Operational Objectives: Contribute to the development and review of Compliance & Integrity Plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Maintain knowledge of key compliance and regulatory regimes, including Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery - Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and Trade Controls.
  • Whistleblower Systems and Employee Feedback: Review and improve whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.

Additional qualifications include analytical skills, experience in public speaking and business presentation, knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards, independent project management skills, excellent communication skills, adaptability to innovative approaches, and change management capabilities.
