Corporate Housekeeping Director

This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance across all properties.

The successful candidate will develop and implement housekeeping procedures, conduct detailed audits, and advise Unit Facility Managers on process flows to ensure consistent brand compliance.

This role involves developing and monitoring housekeeping policies, standardising checklists, conducting regular property audits, and ensuring timely closure of pending items.

The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to unit leadership, providing operational support, training, and performance evaluations to enhance member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Housekeeping Policies and Procedures: Create, implement, and standardise housekeeping policies and procedures across all properties.
  2. Conduct Regular Property Audits: Conduct detailed property audits, including snag lists for all areas, to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Advise Unit Facility Managers: Guide Unit Facility Managers on best practices, process flows, resource allocation, and vendor management to ensure efficient operations.
  4. Monitor Performance Metrics: Review daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping schedules to ensure efficiency and adherence to preventive maintenance plans.
  5. Collaborate with Other Teams: Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to address maintenance issues identified during inspections.
  6. Analyse Feedback: Analyse member and guest feedback related to housekeeping and initiate corrective measures.
  7. Provide Reports: Provide periodic reports to corporate leadership on housekeeping performance, snag closure rates, and brand compliance scores.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Expertise: Proven expertise in managing housekeeping operations in luxury hotels or premium lifestyle clubs.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and coaching skills to influence and guide unit-level teams.
  • Proficiency in Snag List Creation: Proficiency in snag list creation and follow-up tracking tools.
  • Vendor Management: Proficiency in vendor management including vendor negotiation, performance monitoring, and cost optimisation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years' experience in housekeeping leadership within luxury hospitality.
