Job Title: eCommerce Director

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished eCommerce director to spearhead our online retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across various channels, including direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, and emerging platforms.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to optimize revenue, margin, and customer acquisition costs (CAC) while ensuring product-market fit and localizing hero SKUs.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast demand and manage end-to-end inventory levels to maintain stock-out rates ≤2% and ageing stock ≤4%.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D teams to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • Marketing Strategies: Orchestrate 360° marketing campaigns, allocating budgets for maximum return on ad spend (ROAS), and negotiate with 3PLs, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams (growth, operations, customer success, retail, and trade). Champion customer obsession by mining voice-of-customer insights to inform product updates and customer experience enhancements.
  • Partnerships and Compliance: Drive strategic partnerships to amplify reach, ensure legal and tax compliance, and present quarterly business reviews to global leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets.
  • Innovation and Risk Management: Deploy a test-and-learn culture, running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers, and establish disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Benchmark competition, delivering actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
