Are you an experienced packaging expert seeking a challenging role that combines technical skills with operational support?

This position is ideal for someone who has a strong background in application packaging and can work effectively in customer environments.

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Application Packaging Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing software for deployment, testing, and release within customer environments.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Evaluating application packaging approaches and executing steps within Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits, including intake, packaging, testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and resolving incidents and requests.
  • Liaising with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed.
  • Managing and supporting customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Responding to and resolving assigned incidents, ensuring actions are taken within SLA or without causing unforeseen business impact.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems using setup commands/scripting, repackaging, and customizing setup applications.

The required skills and qualifications for this position include:

  • MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks knowledge
  • Windows 11 and AD Group Policies expertise
  • Powershell Scripting and basic VB scripting skills for automation
  • Microsoft Intune product family knowledge, including application creation/integration and deployment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills
  • ITIL-based operations experience using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow
