About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Tax Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the tax team with matters related to taxation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Assessment Support: Collaborate with tax authorities to resolve ongoing matters and draft rectification applications as needed.
  • Tax Authority Liaison: Establish strong communication channels with tax authorities for seamless interactions.
  • Research and Analysis: Delve into direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing technical submissions to support the team's efforts.
  • Document Preparation: Craft replies to be filed before tax authorities, addressing penalty proceedings, stay of demand, demand adjustment, appeal effect applications, and more.
  • Corporate Tax Returns: Prepare and submit accurate corporate tax returns in a timely manner.
  • TDS Returns Management: Independently manage TDS returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Advance Tax Computations: Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates, providing valuable insights to the team.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Effective Communication: Enhance collaboration with regional finance managers to drive results.
  • Prompt Support: Provide timely and accurate support for strategic & annual planning.
  • Reliable Forecasting: Deliver reliable forecasting and re-estimates, driving business growth.
  • High-Quality Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of company performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Qualification as a Chartered Accountant.

Experience:

  • Possess 1–4 years of relevant tax experience (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC exposure.
  • Have exposure to corporate tax and international taxation.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.
  • Show business acumen with adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Be proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with strong initiative.
