**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced data professional to fill the role of Data Architect. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines that meet business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting and integrating Big Data tools and frameworks to provide requested capabilities
  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines with ETL processes, monitoring performance and advising infrastructure changes
  • Translating technical and functional requirements into detailed designs
  • Investigating alternative solutions to ensure streamlined approaches

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

Data Engineering Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and modeling techniques
  • Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles - Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
  • Experience with building stream-processing systems using Storm or Spark- Streaming
  • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools - Pig, Hive, Impala
  • Experience with Spark, SQL, and Linux

ETL and Messaging Systems:

  • Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks - Flume, Apache NiFi, DBT
  • Experience with messaging systems - Kafka or RabbitMQ
