Key Role: Senior Design Engineer

You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of our global team.

The primary focus is on providing technical support to sales teams by designing new products, modifying existing designs and conducting project specification reviews.

It is essential to have a good knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, metallurgy and machine design.

  • Provide technical expertise for the development of new products and modification of existing ones.
  • Conduct risk reviews and provide necessary inputs to sales during the quote stage.
  • Design and develop calculation tools, test procedures and solve problems using innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs for new products and modify existing ones to meet customer requirements.
  • Review customer specifications and conduct technical risk reviews.
  • Design and manufacturing review with sales and operations.
  • Prepare design calculations for product development/evaluation.
  • Provide error-free and timely designs and engineering outputs.
  • Attend meetings and conferences to develop knowledge and skills.
  • Work with vendors to understand their process/technology and implement it in the product.
  • Collaborate with all locations worldwide to understand the identified product and its design and engineering requirements.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Metallurgy/materials, and Machine Design.
  • Good knowledge in control valves, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Working knowledge of Solid works & AutoCAD.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful.
  • Working knowledge on MS Office.
  • Knowledge in Excel VBA/Macros would be desirable.
  • Good writing skills to prepare design documents and manuals.
  • Will to travel globally.
  • Team leadership experience and ability to work as a team player.
  • Able to multi-task, communicate with other teams and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced result-oriented environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
