Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow developer to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, discovery, and scripting modules, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize incident, problem, change, and service request management workflows in alignment with business requirements.
  • Configure and update discovery schedules, monitor daily runs for errors, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable CI identification and population.
  • Enhance discovery probes and patterns to support complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Continuously improve the ServiceNow platform through iterative enhancements, user feedback incorporation, and performance tuning.
  • Customize form layouts, fields, and user interfaces to support data consistency and usability across modules.
  • Tailor and extend CAB workbench functionality to support automated workflows and board operations.
  • Develop and maintain robust REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems.
  • Manage scheduled jobs, script includes, business rules, and automation scripts for operational efficiency.
  • Customize the employee center portal to improve branding, content delivery, and user engagement.
  • Design and publish reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and operational transparency.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues using advanced scripting skills and resolve defects promptly.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to analyze business needs and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Relevant ServiceNow training in IT service management, discovery, and scripting modules.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Proven track record with ServiceNow IT service management modules and discovery implementation.
  • Experience with form customization, API integration, and dashboard/report creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting platform issues and scripting errors.
