Procurement Expertise

We seek a seasoned procurement professional with 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, cost reduction, and supply planning. This expert will lead training programs for procurement teams, ensuring best practices and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging sessions on procurement processes, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and ERP systems.
    • Provide hands-on training in contract negotiation strategies, supplier risk assessment, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Curriculum Development:
    • Design and update training materials tailored to medical devices, automotive, electrical industries.
    • Develop e-learning modules for procurement processes, supplier scorecards, and sourcing workflows.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements.
    • Train teams on regulatory compliance, sustainability, and ethical sourcing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management – extensive experience in supplier evaluation and development.
  • Vendor Management & SRM – supplier performance monitoring and development.
  • Contract Negotiation & Risk Management – strong knowledge of commercial terms and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Reduction & Value Engineering – proven track record in process optimization.
  • ERP Systems Expertise – SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement modules.
  • Cross-Industry Knowledge – exposure to procurement processes in multiple manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design industry-specific training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM are preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager/Lead prior to becoming a trainer.
