Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Lead

Responsibilities

  • We design, develop, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaboration with IT and business stakeholders is crucial to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implementation and enforcement of CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • We develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Technical leadership and mentorship are provided to the CMDB development team.
  • Audits and data quality checks are performed regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • The CMDB integrates with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Staying up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends is essential.
  • Training sessions are conducted for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • A strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
